Description
The internship candidate will provide support to the Technology Policy and International Affairs (TPIA) group of the IEEE-SA and will gain valuable experience in understanding global technology trends.
Responsibilities include:
- Research and develop country and organization profiles
- Research and develop a list of IEEE standards that have been translated into languages other than English
- Ecosystem mapping of organizations
- Other projects as assigned
Qualifications
- College rising junior or senior with strong academic performance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as collaborate with team members.
- Knowledge of international and intergovernmental organization landscape a plus
- Strong computer software and database skills and ability to learn new programs a plus
