Exciting Opportunity to be part of the Covance Global Internship Program!

At Covance, we offer real work assignments that compliment one’s education, are challenging and recognized to the organization as valuable. Our interns have the opportunity to showcase their work, allowing them to demonstrate their achievements to Covance senior management, their supervisor and mentors. Each intern class participates in a group philanthropic project allowing them to see firsthand how Covance is dedicated to its community. In addition, Covance encourages professional development and career exploration through program workshops, each designed to help students prepare for a thriving career in our industry.

The HR Diversity team at Covance is looking for a summer intern to support our Affirmative Action Plan . The Intern project will consist of researching Affirmative Action Plan regulations and information to create additional content for AAP Manager Training. Additionally, the intern will assist with the following:

•Assist with the launching of 2017-2018 AAP Manager Training

•Conduct up to two location reviews with an HR Partner to inform them of their plans.

•Conduct an audit of all US locations regarding Labor Law posting compliance to ensure all posters are current and up to date as well as confirm all contacts for each location.

Education/Qualifications: Working toward a Bachelor’s degree in Business/Human Resources/Management

Strong communication skills

Knowledge of all Microsoft Office Products

Articulate training a plus

Ability to multitask

Attention to Detail

Interest in Diversity a plus

Experience: Excel, PowerPoint experience required
